resolve?

Nov. 25th, 2009 | 09:15 pm
mood: determined determined

Yeahhhhh. I've really grown tired of half-assedly 'wishing' and 'hoping' just plain waiting for it. I want this. Bad. I will stop sitting around and just go and fking do it. and this time around I'm not going to give up until I've got it.

Yeah, this sounds weird but it really isn't anything weird. I'm just really over half assedly doing stuff.

I'm going to achieve this personal goal even if it kills me.

If I had an icon that looks like "determination" I would have it up. But I don't. Hahaha..

Glee

mood: relaxed relaxed

So, I finally finished 'Days'. Now I am in my post-end game phase. Disorientated and missing it oh so badly.

'Glee' is shockingly good. 'Glee' is surprisingly addicitive. Watching 'Glee' makes me sigh dreamily and wish my high school had a theatre club.
Don't sing or dance in public by any means except at kareoke, but it would still be pretty damn awesome to see. If I did join a theatre club, I assume I'd be doing backstage work.

I am so done for the year :D. It's all just kicking back and enjoying my spring/summer vacation from here..I can't believe I studied through my birthday. oh well.

I need to start compiling my spring/summer vacation to-do list.. First thing's first, I need to finish off KH 358/2 Days. -_- I'm so close to the end. but I don't want it to end so I keep denying it by playing 'Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box' instead.

Watched 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' exams today and came out of the cinema disorientated :D The devil guy in it reminds me a lot of the Earl from D.Gray-man, with the umbrella and everything...

Got presents from Tracey, TV, Jenny and Arianne. uwah so surprised. (><) so happy. thanks a lot. you guys are awesome. :D

Toby keeps barking. I hope it's not his leg or something hurting him..

Bit late but, hope everyone had a kick-ass Halloween. Mine? We had actually a group of kids come to the our door this year for 'Trick or Treat'. It was like kinda a first time for me, I think I was a bit too eager when I full on poured candy into their bags...But seriously, can you blame me?

Anyway, Life will be full blown hell from tomorrow onwards...up to the 13th. Ew.

Finally caught up in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and goodness gracious me, It's really good. It's good to the point where it's breaking my brain and sucking my soul out from my ears. So...in normal person talk... I'm really coming to like it.

Now that I've got that out of my system, I went driving again tonight. This time however, with my aunt and not with my instructor, therefore there were no controls on the passenger side of the car. scary.

Oh right, then there was that car that came from my right lane as I was beginning to turn into a street on the left. Terrifying.  I don't know what frame of mind they were in but they decided it was suddenly okay to dive into my lane and stop right in front of me. Like one of those car chase movies where the car is thrown horizontally in front of the guy being trapped.
Ugh they were just about 30cm away from smashed into on the side and they were taking their sweet sweet time.

Fair enough if you had wanted to go into the street too but dude, If you're gonna try to be a smartass and cut the queue, then please do it with some grace and speed and movement.

Scared the shit out of me

My driving teacher was interesting today XD He bought Hil and me Ice-cream...despite the fact it was raining...

Wow, recently I've been watching stuff like...crazy...I'm so going to get capped this month (>_<)  I haven't watched anime and american series so consecutively in so, so long. Finished 'Pandora Hearts' last week! Honestly, I really liked it. I loved the characters, storyline and the costumes are so... beautiful. Yeah, I'm really into that sort of thing...Currently watching 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood'.

Oh, you know that necklace with Roxas' X shaped charm on it... I ...decided to beuncharacteristically fan-like and bought it online recently. Yeah online because, I don't know about other countries but Australia doesn't...stock those kinds of things in shops? So anyway, despite what my sister tells me.."you're going to fall over. that thing will stab you. and you will die", I'm really growing quite fond of it :P

I wear it out sometimes, if my outfit allows it...But what I really find amusing is what every single person says when they see me wearing it...

"WOW COOL YOU'RE WEARING A NINJA STAR!"  ...XD weee okay... ninja star...hahhaa

Donated blood for the first time today! They gave me free food for my blood! They took half a litre! I didn't even know because I was staring at this smaller bag of blood attached to the arm of my chair... which was actually just a bag for a small sample of blood. Then I realised my blood was actually pumping into a much larger bag behind my seat XD No wonder the small bag wasn't getting any fuller...

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS!!!!! YAY. XD GOING TO PLAY IT NOW!

fireworks

There were fireworks at the park near my house tonight! Though the celebration wasn't any of my business... I got a perfect view of the whole thing from my bedroom window. Go apparently didn't enjoy it as much as I did. You can kinda tell when she's whimpering and shaking and forcing her way onto your lap. She's so fucking cute.

So, I finally finished Water by the.israel.project107 today. I'm wrapped.Okay, I admit it's not something I would usually read, because it's got quite a dark and angsty feel. No, but all in all, I have to say I really enjoyed it.
I've been reading it on the train to and from Uni most days... because the amount of time I have to sit by myself on public transport every morning and afternoon is an absolute kick in the balls.

Happy Birthday my dearest Van!!  It's almost like the fireworks at the park were done for you. Yes, I missed in congratulating you over LJ for turning 18 by 53 minutes. You know I still love you long time right? Bah, fine I'll throw in a text message too...probably not now because you'd probably be really upset if I woke you at this hour. Another time...when it's not 1:53am

So,I decided to be totally lame and rode my bike down to the swimming pool today. I'm trying to keep my word and go swimming whenever I have time. Then I ran into my 4 year old cousin Rebecca, sporting pink 'Hello Kitty' swimwear. Pink bikini and  frilly swimskirt. Yes, those skirts with swim panties incorporated underneath. So, she sees me and goes "plleeaaasseeee come and play with me in the kids poollllll".

I cave in and yeah, hence begins the childish games she insisted we played, 'Hide and Seek', tag and 'Hide the goggles'.

So, how the heck does one play 'Hide and Seek' in the kids pool anyway? I don't think holding my breath in the 0.5 metre kids pool works...
'Tag' went fairly smoothly. Then we got to 'Hide the Goggles'.

So she yanks my goggles from around my neck and demands I close my eyes for 20 seconds. I oblige.

When I open my eyes, I actually could not find them.

Then she giggles and lifts up her skirt and I see the very apparent bulge of my goggles stuffed under her swim panties.

...What the fuck?

So tired. Initially planned to go swimming but couldn't, just too tired.
Man, I've not read properly and seriously in a few weeks. Recently, It's been that recurring phenomenon where it's been over an hour and you're still reading the same sentence.

Having said that, I got some reading done today... 2 stories. Both Axel and Roxas. Haven't read much of anything else recently. Writing about this feels unfamiliar.

The afternoon was spent half sitting/lying on the couch with Go and Toby, reading while Darren playing DS on the couch nearby. The TV was on but ignored...huge contributer of global warming right here.

Now I shall give Go my undivided attention, she's been trying to get my attention away from the laptop by placing her paw on my hand for a while now.

Do not wear black in the company of these guys... )

And... I'll probably go and rescue Toby from the wrath my dad will bestow on him for peeing in his room now.

Went to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week! However....absolutely everything comes with a price. Wear heels out, pay for it in the morning when you can't even walk properly. heh. I'm not going to get out of bed for the rest of the night.

Had the weirdest day on Wednesday

It was like some sort of hilarious conspiracy... )

Going to spend the rest of the night watching American Dad with Bonnie, reading, maybe then I'll attempt to figure out how to use Adobe Premiere Elements.

Okay, so I realized that when I post, 2 icons actually show up on everyone's pages. Ahahaa...Oh well, I guess I could be the crazy lady that uses 2 icons with every post. (=_=;)

Went to a ball for my course on Thursday. Located at a reception in Brighton. The floors were checkered black and white and was really interesting...I'll make an attempt to put a photo of some friends and me under cut...which has never been done before.

yey. so snap-happy... )

Another thing I've just got to say.

Driving manual. is. so. bloody. hard.

In a single driving lesson. I have managed to stall my engine twice, get beeped and tear the car I was driving through an island on a main road. Why isn't driving the way I've always believed? Like Go-Karting haha...

Cramming.

Aug. 25th, 2009 | 02:25 am
location: room
mood: lazy lazy

Got up early because the carpet cleaners were coming over and we had to move all the things on the carpet onto the tiles. The toys in my room had to go in baskets and sit on my bed. They filled 2 laundry baskets to the top. I had a hell of a time putting them back afterwards...

So due to the carpet being all damp, the kitchen table became my study desk for the day. Funny how I managed to concentrate on Human Anatomy, Joints and Muscles when my dad was eating his lunch and watching loud chinese programs less than 2 metres from me.

In the end I managed to cram 8 lectures into 5 hours, got the test done and yes...made cookies for the rest of the day.

Oh! I ended up going to the Manifest with Hil and Parlum on Sat! Sadly, there was no Axel. However, I did see a Sora with a Kairi and a Namine. Oh and a Riku and Roxas too. Not as good as some other cosplays I've been but still pretty good...except the Riku one. That was a little disappointing. But then again I can't complain. I don't even cosplay. This year was better than the last time I went! This should keep me satisfied for another 3 years.

One more thing!

Rox or Van! Answer me this! What does my page look like when it shows up on your friends page? Do I have like 2 pictures? I mean, I don't actually have those userpic things when I post them on my journal, but I'm wondering if my shows when it's on your friend pages?

manifest

So, the manifest is this Friday - Sunday. Melbourne's once-a-year anime convention-festival thingy.
Speaking of which, anyone attending? cosplaying even?

As for me. I'm not going. Well, not with any friends at least. Last time I went to one of those, it was really not...fun or exciting. Oh and I don't really cosplay or anything like that. Sounds like awesome fun, but I don't do it.

Admittedly, I think those who do are pretty admirable, I mean, making they're own costumes and stuff. pretty damn fantastic. I remember a while back, me and my friends were at Flinders Street McDonalds and I was waiting in line. So, I look around and whoa!

There's a  Sora sitting on a table nearby. In total Kingdom Hearts II costume, straps and all, complete with a life size Kingdom Key. ahahaha. This was totally before I got really into Kingdom Hearts. Played it ages ago, but didn't start loving it until later... So I was like "Tracey! isn't that Sora from Kingdom Hearts?" Obviously, she didn't know what I was on about... hahaha. Because my friends don't game.  Oh well, I still thought it was pretty awesome.

Maybe, i'll feel impulsive and drop into the convention if I happen to be in the city this weekend...probably will be. XD But if I do, I don't want to run into anyone I know! XD

Yes, I do realise I don't write on this a whole lot. I promise to write more often from now on. So, I didn't have uni again today, so I just hung around at home, played Resident Evil 4 on Wii with Darren. I swear, that game is so scary. Ladies in aprons walking up to you with butcher's knives... but it's one of those games that you want to keep playing anyway.

Yesterday, a postcard from Nami arrived in the post. That both suprised and made me extremely happy. I mean, I didn't think they'd have the time to write me because they're so busy over there. I think I read the postcard over like 3 times. hahhahaa. Yes, I'm wrapped. Nami said that they're going to Korea this summer holiday. Apparently, it's really cheap for the Japanese to go. Oh and then she said they might come to Melbourne when Hime's a bit older :D

Going clubbing with Kitrina and Thy on Friday! Don't really know if clubbing is really my thing yet. Especially not at Chasers. Kit said AJ's going to be performing. Why did she tell me that? Never even spoken to the guy hahaha. Oh well. I guess that specified why she was going. ahaha

Personality Quiz

Sep. 11th, 2005 | 12:25 am
mood: amused amused
music: computer humming

Hey, I took this quiz today ^^ its really funny hahaha,

Joe Normal
34 % Nerd, 34% Geek, 43% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored less than half in all three, earning you the title of: Joe Normal.

This is not to say that you don't have some Nerd, Geek or Dork inside of you--we all do, and you can see the percentages you have right above. This is just to say that none of those qualities stand out so much as to define you. Sure, you enjoy an episode of Star Trek now and again, and yeah, you kinda enjoyed a few classes back in the day. And, once in a while, you stumble while walking down the street even though there was nothing there to cause you to trip. But, for the most part, you look and act fairly typically, and aren't much of an outcast.

I'd say there's a fair chance someone asked you to take this test. In any event, fairly normal.

Congratulations!

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback!

Also, you might want to check out some of my other tests if you're interested in any of the following:
